Lebanese Style Iced Tea

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 black tea bag of choice (with string)
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ⅛ tsp rosewater
  • Sweetener of choice, optional
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 tsp pine nuts for garnish (optional)

METHOD

Pop tea bag into the bottom of your flask, ensuring the pull-string is in place. 

Fill your flask with 250ml hot water from the kettle.

Steep tea bag for 3-5 minutes, then remove and let cool. 

Once cool, add lemon juice, rose water and sweetener. 

Pop in a few cubes and a lemon wedge.

*authentic Lebanese tea has pine nuts added as a garnish. If you wish, you can add these now.
